God is Closer

Over these last several weeks we have focused on the theme “God Is Closer Than You Think” in our Sunday gatherings and in our small groups. It has been very cool to see God do various things in people’s lives this fall. What a fantastic experience it was last Sunday morning to hear some of the good news reports. I love it when people are willing to open their lives to others and talk about the journey… we are all “further ahead” because of it!
I love being a part of a healthy church body. There is something rejuvenating and exciting about it.
I love being part of a church where people can “come as they are” – whether it’s people who have been committed Christ-followers for decades, or people like I met recently After one of our Sunday morning gatherings who were experiencing a Sunday church service for the very first time. Let’s group up again this Sunday to inspire and encourage one another to truly believe that God is closer than we may sometimes think.
