Back to Busy?

I imagine the fall brings different feelings for you. The summer is gone, students have started a new grade, kids have headed off to college, and work seems to require a whole lot more from you. The calmness of summer is met with the reality of fall like a head on collision and most of the time our soul bears the brunt of the impact. We become so busy we neglect the One who will get us through. As busy as we get, it can never replace time spent in the prescence of God. That can look very different for everyone. Maybe it’s at the breakfast table with the kids in the morning and the moment you pause to pray with your kids before they head off to school. Maybe for you it’s the commute to the job site and the time spent in prayer for your kids and your marriage. Wherever and whenever it happens for you this week, may you feel the prescence of God penetrate your soul to bring refreshing and strength.
