Just thought I’d update you from my last blog on March 4th (wow, time flies). After I wrote that March 4th blog, later that afternoon I was returning to the church from an appointment and picked up a coffee at Tim’s. When I finished my medium coffee, I rolled up the rim and shouted, “I’m 1 for 20!” …for real! It was a ‘Win a Donut’! As of this morning, I am 5 for 63. Zero For 19

I picked up my 19th Tim Horton’s “roll up the rim” cup of coffee this morning and enjoyed it as I worked in my office. I finished the last little sip with excitement because I had deceived myself into thinking that after purchasing 18 cups of coffee that the 19th cup would certainly yield me, if not the car or the barbecue, at least a cup of coffee or a measly donut.
