October 18, 2015 – Faith that Leads to Mission Accomplishment
Pastor Marlo Jenkins spoke about the fact that God sometimes calls us to things that expand our faith in relationship with Him to show us what is possible as we follow His lead. As a church, God has us right there these days. In the journey we are reminded that our core mission of ‘knowing God, loving people, and serving the world’ is all about sharing the gospel with spiritually lost people.
October 25, 2015 - Sacrifice Required
Reverend David Hazzard, Assistant Superintendant with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada and ECC’s capital campaign consultant, shared some life-shaping Biblical principles about living sacrificially and three rhythms of doing so: praising sacrificially, loving sacrificially and giving sacrificially. As Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive”.
November 1, 2015 – The Power of Partnership
ECC Pastor’s Council member Harvey Riehl-Tonn spoke about the power of partnership with God and how our partnership is ultimately to see people come to Christ, to know his love, and experience his grace. As we commit our lives first to the Lord, our partnership becomes powerful. Trusting the Lord together will not only help us see the building expansion completed, but also see our community reached for Christ.
November 8, 2015 – The Follow Through: Mission Commitment
Commitment is always required for follow through of mission...or of anything that God leads us to do. Pastor Marlo Jenkins spoke about the on-going commitment that is a part of God’s call on our lives to give, share, love and work to see His purposes advanced.
