We are "back in our building" this Sunday. We had planned an outdoor gathering in the park, but someone in our church family alerted us that there are two ball tournaments happening at the park this weekend, which will limit the amount of parking and space available. We are sensitive to the fact that some of our church family finds it difficult to walk longer distances, and that it's challenging to haul lawn chairs, lunch and multiple children any distance also. So we have made the decision to move back to our building for our gathering, baptism and farewell for Pastor Crystal.
But we're still having a church picnic after our gathering! Please bring those lawn chairs, lunch and beverages! A special cake will be provided to honour Pastor Crystal and her family. After our gathering at the church, please make your way to Promenade Park (*Google and Apple maps do not work for this location) on 55 Avenue across from 56A Street (map attached). There is parking on the street. Please leave a few spots right in front of the park for those with mobility issues. Bring some lawn games, soccer balls, pop-up soccer nets - whatever you have! Please note that there are no washrooms at the park, so please use the ones at the church before you go.
We're looking forward to hanging out together in our building and at the park!
